Description
The River Swimmer is a collection of novellas by Jim Harrison, containing the stories In the Land of Unlikeness and Water Baby. In the Land of Unlikeness: a sixty-year-old man returns to his family's farmhouse in Michigan and finds himself again. Water Baby is about a boy irresistibly drawn to the water as an escape, and who sees otherworldly creature there. Faced with the pressures of coming of age, he takes to the river and follows its siren song all the way across Lake Michigan.
