Kate Stevens has begun work on a new crochet design book with the help of a new friend, the elderly Madeline Townsend, who lives in fear for her husband though he died more than a year ago. Madeline is protected by her sister and nephew, the handsome Robert Townsend, whose suave nature turns Kate's head.
