Ex-cop Luther Malone, member of the secretive paranormal Arcane Society, will be working with Grace Renquist, who has no field experience but has been hired as an aura-reader in the quest for a murder suspect. Grace isn't expecting much from Malone, who walks with a cane and isn't so good with a gun. But before they reach their hotel in Maui, Grace and Luther feel the electric charge between them.
