This cross-national project examined preparation for and psychological functioning following Hurricane Georges in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Alabama, and Mississippi.
The present project examined psychological functioning four weeks after a major earthquake. Of special interest was the prevalence of symptoms associated with acute stress disorder.
